Off to Jeju-do!

So excited! Tomorrow is my first day off of work because it's a holiday. Children's Day! The day to celebrate all children. Why don't we have this day in America? And it's not just a day that there is no school. It's an actual holiday. I'm pretty sure most people have work off too. I asked kids at school today what tomorrow was, to see if they remember in English. Most of them responded correctly, then they asked 'where's my present?' or 'give me present.' Sorry no presents, although they did get to watch a movie with the extra time we had. I think that's a present to my students and my co-teacher and me. Plus I get friday off just because....so I'm going on vacation. Specifically to an island off the southern coast of Korea called Jeju-do. We leave tonight, like in 2 hours and take a bus overnight to the southern port, sleep for a bit, then get on a ferry for 5 hours. The plan is to do lots of hiking, there's a huge mountain in the center of the island, go biking, play at the beach, and just relax a bit. Should be a good time :) Well I'm gonna go catch my bus. Public transportation is amazing here! Pray for safe travels!
